Emily Ann Valentine Jacoby - Art Portfolio
You Don't Know Me was created in 2023 in the efforts of exploring and learning new medium. Sewn completely by hand, the work is a beginning of a new era within my art making practice. This piece was shown in the 2023 Whitney Staff Art Show, West Side Exposer, at Westbeth Gallery.
The quilt is made of silk, satin, and velvet, acrylic paint, thread, needles, and beads. It is double-sided, though only one side was displayed and photographed.
